Dermalogica Powerfoliant removes dulling surface cells and helps maximise the absorption of the brightening treatments. This potent two part powder/liquid system activates when combined.

Ingredients Ingredients
  • Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Fruit Ferment, Papain and Salicylic Acid help exfoliate surface cells to aid in brightening of skin.
  • Lactic Acid, an alpha hydroxy acid, stimulates cell renewal and cell turnover while brightening the skin.
  • Phytic Acid chelates Copper to inhibit Tyrosinase enzyme involved in melanin formation.
  • Niacinamide inhibits transfer of melanosomes to keratinocytes.
  • Ascorbyl Glucoside (Vitamin C), Ferula Foetide Root Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract and Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Extract brighten skin.
Application Dermalogica Recommended Application
  1. Perform the Dermalogica Double Cleanse that begins with Dermalogica Precleanse and follows with Dermalogica Tri-Active Cleanse.
  2. To activate Dermalogica Powerfoliant, press firmly down on button in cap to release powder. Shake until powder and liquid are combined. Twist off cap, and twist applicator onto base. Pull to remove applicator cap.
  3. Dispense 5-6 drops directly onto face and neck with fingertips, avoiding eye area, and gently massage over the skin until absorbed.
  4. Allow to activate for 2-3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
  5. Reseal with applicator tip.
  6. Follow with Dermalogica C-12 Concentrate, Dermalogica Extreme C and Dermalogica Pure Light SPF 30 during the day or Dermalogica Pure Night during the evening.
  7. To reactivate upon next application, gently shake to combine ingredients. Use opened vial within 4 weeks. Use twice weekly after cleansing.
Contraindications Contraindications
Avoid eye area. Do not use on skin that is sun burned, irritated, sensitive, has cuts or abrasions, or has recently been waxed. See product packaging for full details.

'I used Powerfoliant for the first time 3 months ago, used one vial, waited a month and have just finished the second vial. The results are very similar to micro-dermabrasion in that my skin looks smoother and very fine lines have disappeared altogether. I used it in the evenings as my skin did feel tingly afterwards, but withing 5 minutes was back to normal. I would recommend this for anyone planning glowing skin in advance of a big event, or getting rid of spots (as it seems to bring them out the following week, but then you look great the week after!)'
