Dermalogica Pre-Shave Guard will help to safeguard and soften to solve stubble trouble. Heavy, tough beards require extra prepping that maximises beard softening without the high-alkaline ingredients that can aggravate and dry skin. This formula does just that, while shielding and prepping skin for shaving to help minimise razor burn and bumps.

  • Effectively softens heavier, coarser beards without using skin damaging alkali ingredients found in most shave products. This helps prevent skin sensitivity, redness, dryness and irritation while enhancing each shave.
  • Also ideal for skin that is extremely sensitive or sensitised and requires an extra layer of defence against the razor blade.
  • Acts as an anti-inflammatory that helps control itching caused by irritation.
  • Intensely moisturises for additional lubricity during shaving.
Ingredients Ingredients
  • Camphor cools and helps tone to lift beard away from the skin for maximum razor closeness.
  • Clove Flower Oil helps open pores, soften beard and soothe skin against discomfort associated with razor burn.
  • Wheat Germ Extract and Yeast Extract help combat aggravation, reddening and mechanical peeling associated with shaving.
  • Menthol imparts a cooling, refreshing feeling on skin while acting as an anti-inflammatory and controlling itching caused by irritation.
  • Sodium Hyaluronate and Glycerin hydrate the skin while providing a lubricating cushion between skin and blade.
Application Dermalogica Recommended Application
  1. After cleansing apply a thin layer of Dermalogica Pre-Shave Guard to beard. Do not rinse off.
  2. Apply Dermalogica Soothing Shave Cream.
  3. Shave, rinsing blade often.
  4. Rinse skin with warm water.
Contraindications Contraindications
None.
