Don’t add to excess oil

Excessively oily skin can sometimes feel like an absolute nightmare to deal with, although it will only feel this way if you’re using the wrong type of products.

As there are so many different types of skin care products about nowadays, it can be all too easy to get caught in the trap of using unsuitable skin care products. Unfortunately though, using the wrong type of products could make the problem of excess oil even worse.

One product which a good number of people struggle to get right is moisturiser- especially those who are concerned about premature skin aging or falling to dry patches.

Many people wrongly think that the only way to keep skin supple is to use a rich oil-based moisturiser. This isn’t the case though, and for those with excessively oily skin, using a moisturiser which contains oil can make things 10 times worse.

Instead, it’s best to reach for an oil-free moisturiser such as Dermalogica Active Moist.

Dermalogica Active Moist is able to effectively nourish the skin without the need for any oil at all, and will help to keep excess oil under control rather than adding to it.

Clear and control

When spots appear, it’s a certainty that you’ll want them to disappear again as quickly as possible- especially if spots have also brought shine along for the ride.

There are lots of amazing spot fighting products out there at the moment which can help to restore clear skin quickly. Unfortunately though, as it’s not possible to make spots disappear in a second, you do have to be a little patient. Fortunately though, you don’t need to be patient when it comes to controlling the shine which often comes hand in hand with spots, as there are products which can immediately eliminate this issue.

When you’re on a spot fighting crusade, using lots of different products to fight and control them isn’t exactly ideal, although with so many products out there which can do more than one job, you shouldn’t have to use product after product.

Dermalogica Clearing Mattifier is a brilliant multi-tasking product which fights spots and clears breakouts simultaneously , and as well as being able to tackle existing problems it can also help to stop problems from appearing again in the future.

Clear and control with this great Dermalogica product.

Moisturising every day can keep fine lines away

It’s fair to say that nobody wants to find themselves faced with fine lines on the skin any sooner than they have to, and although it’s inevitable that fine lines are going to grace us all sooner or later, there are measures which can be taken which will help to keep lines at bay for as long as possible.

Making sure that you moisturise with a good product twice a day will help to keep fine lines away, and whilst this may seem like a really simple step, you’d be amazed at just how many people fail to follow it.

Moisturising with a poor quality or unsuitable product or failing to moisturise morning and night could quickly leave skin really dry and dehydrated- and skin which is in this state will be susceptible to suffering with fine lines.

Every skin type is susceptible to suffering with fine lines, although luckily Dermalogica has a brilliant range of moisturisers for all skin types.

When used twice a day every day, Dermalogica moisturisers can keep skin in tip top condition and keep fine lines at arms length.

Enjoy the benefits of an oil-free moisturiser

Moisturisers are everywhere you look nowadays- there are just so many superb products to choose from. With such fantastic choice, there’s no more settling for second best in the form of a moisturiser which doesn’t tick each and every single box as far as your skin’s individual needs are concerned.

However, a large proportion of the moisturisers which are currently available are oil-based, and whilst these moisturisers can be absolutely amazing when it comes to looking after some skin types, they’re not for everyone.

For those for whom oil-based moisturisers aren’t suitable, oil-free moisturisers are a must- and there are many benefits to be enjoyed through reaching for an oil-free moisturiser instead.

Oil-free moisturisers are great for those whose skin is prone to excessive oiliness, and it can prevent skin from becoming even oilier and can help to keep skin looking more matte.

Oil-free moisturisers are also beneficial for those who wear makeup, as they can provide a brilliant base.

A good oil-free moisturiser- such as Dermalogica Active Moist- will still keep the skin adequately hydrated, so you can enjoy the benefits without having to succumb to any negatives.
